JVZoo course review · Brian Anderson

Micro Reach Mastery BUNDLE review: a $27 email course whose upgrades are refunded at high rates

Micro Reach Mastery is Brian Anderson's $27 course on getting marketing emails into the inbox, sold with a CRM subscription, a $497 BUNDLE and three upgrades up to $997. JVZoo's own listing shows refund rates on the bundle and upgrades far above the front end. Independent evidence on what the bundle contains is missing.

Our verdict (editorial opinion)

Verdict withheld: the topic is legitimate, but the expensive parts are poorly documented and heavily refunded. The $27 course covers a real subject (email deliverability), and an affiliate reviewer describes useful basics. But on 31 Oct 2026 JVZoo's listing showed the $497 BUNDLE at a 17.26% refund rate, the two $197 upgrades at 30.00% and 38.46%, and the $997 upgrade at 66.67% (on fewer than 10 sales). We found no independent description of what the bundle contains. If you buy, stop at the $27 course unless you can see exactly what an upgrade includes.

We did not buy it. This review is based on the public sales page, vendor documents, marketplace data and third-party or community reports, checked on 31 October 2026. We claim no hands-on use.

The short version

  • What it is: an 8-module course on email deliverability and engagement (the “Engagement Accelerator Solution”), with 100+ swipe templates for local-business lead generation. A higher tier adds a Microreach CRM sub-account and five “cleaned & validated” business lead lists “built from publicly available business data” (Official sales page (not an affiliate link)).
  • Who: Brian Anderson (JVZoo seller “Media Mash”, verified, member since 2011).
  • Front end: $27, with a 30-day money-back guarantee on the sales page.
  • The BUNDLE: $497, 200+ sales, refund rate 17.26% (JVZoo listing, 31 Oct 2026).
  • Note: the vendor's affiliate terms tell promoters not to use “negative words such as ‘scam’” in campaigns, so expect affiliate reviews to be positive.
  • Full JVZoo funnel: 7 products, from $27 to $997; see the table below.

Not enough third-party information to reach a full verdict

We looked for independent evidence and did not find enough to judge whether this product does what it says. Most of what is published about it comes from the vendor or from affiliates who earn a commission if you buy. Here is exactly what we checked and what was missing.

What we checked

  • The vendor sales page (microreach.convertri.com/fe) and JV page, 31 Oct 2026
  • JVZoo's public affiliate listing for product #422547, viewed 31 Oct 2026
  • OTO Ledger's vendor record for Brian Anderson (21 Oct 2026)
  • Written reviews ranking in Google, led by MoralReview; all we found offer bonuses or affiliate links
  • Searches for Reddit, forum and Trustpilot discussion

What was missing

  • Any review from a buyer without an affiliate link
  • Any description of what the $497 BUNDLE contains, from the vendor or anyone else
  • Agreement on the upsell ladder: the JVZoo listing and an affiliate reviewer describe different upgrades and prices
  • Independent evidence for the open-rate improvements claimed

Claims that need corroboration before a fair verdict is possible

  • That the system gives “the best open rates of your life” within 30 days (sales page)
  • That the funnel produces “incredibly low refund rates” (JV page), against the upgrade refund rates JVZoo shows

Every product in the JVZoo funnel

JVZoo public affiliate listing for product #422547, viewed 31 Oct 2026. Refund rates are JVZoo's. Small sales bands make some rates volatile.

Upgrade 2$197.0025+38.46%
Upgrade 3$997.00under 1066.67%

The figures move: a search-engine copy of the same listing taken earlier showed the front end at 9.52%, the bundle at 13.08% and the $997 upgrade at 100%. Every rate above the front end is well above the 6.71% median that OTO Ledger reports across JVZoo funnels (21 Oct 2026). OTO Ledger, which tracks this vendor's funnel under the BUNDLE, gives an 18.9% average refund rate across it.

An affiliate reviewer (MoralReview, 1 Jan 2026) describes a different ladder: software at $47/month or $297/year, an “Engagement Growth System” at $97, an “Inner Circle” at $297 and white-label rights at $997. We can't reconcile the two, which is one reason we withhold a verdict.

What the course is about

The sales page frames the problem as low open rates and spam-folder placement, and promises a “tool-agnostic” method covering engagement signals, CAN-SPAM basics, spam traps and list hygiene. The affiliate reviewer says there is no public syllabus before purchase. These are real, well-documented topics. Note that the CRM tier is built around sending to business lead lists you didn't collect yourself, which is cold outreach: check the law where you and your recipients are before you send.

Claims versus evidence

Is Micro Reach Mastery a scam or legit?

Brian Anderson is a long-standing, verified JVZoo seller, and the course topic is real. What the evidence questions is the back end: buyers asked for refunds on the bundle and upgrades at two to ten times the median rate, and we found no clear public description of what they contain. That doesn't prove the upgrades are poor, but it is the strongest warning sign in the data.

What we like

  • Real, useful topic (deliverability, authentication, list hygiene)
  • 30-day money-back guarantee advertised
  • Long-standing verified vendor

What to watch out for

  • $497 bundle refunded at 17.26%; $197 upgrades at 30–38% (JVZoo, 31 Oct 2026)
  • No public syllabus or bundle contents
  • Conflicting upsell descriptions
  • Only affiliate reviews found
