Who we are
Active Learning Site (active-learning-site.com) is an independent publisher of reviews and guides. You can reach us at hello@active-learning-site.com.
What we collect
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, referring site and similar usage data. We use it only in aggregate to improve the site.
- Server logs: our hosting provider keeps standard logs (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time) for security and operations.
- Email: if you write to hello@active-learning-site.com, we receive your address and message and use them only to reply and, for corrections, to check and update the page.
We have no user accounts, comment forms or newsletter, and we don't sell personal data.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) to distinguish visitors and sessions. We set no advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Third parties
Google processes analytics data under its own privacy policy. When you follow a link to another site, that site's own policy applies.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask what personal data we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time. Most analytics data is held by Google; we will help where we can.
Retention
We keep emails only as long as needed to deal with them. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention setting.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
