FunnelMates review: a working funnel platform, a 2021 masterclass and thin buyer evidence
FunnelMates is a hosted platform of ready-made email list-building funnels for affiliate marketers, from Cindy Donovan. The JVZoo bundle with a "6 Week Live Affiliate Masterclass" dates from 2021. The platform is still sold today, but there's too little independent evidence to judge results.

Our verdict (editorial opinion)
Partial verdict: clear offer terms, too little evidence on results. FunnelMates is a long-running, clearly described product. Its live sales page explains the funnels, the hosted email service, the marketplace and its fees, and offers a 30-day no-questions-asked refund. The "live" masterclass ran in June 2021, so today you'd be buying recordings at best. We found only a handful of independent buyer comments, so we can't judge whether typical members build a profitable list. By default FunnelMates hosts your subscribers and emails them promotions for you.

The short version
- What it is: a cloud platform where you activate ready-made lead-magnet funnels (opt-in page, download pages and pre-written emails) with your affiliate links inserted, plus a marketplace where members sell funnels to each other (Official sales page (not an affiliate link)).
- The masterclass: the JVZoo product "FunnelMates + 6 Week Live Affiliate Masterclass" launched in 2021. MunchEye's launch listing shows a $47 JVZoo launch with a "6 week live event" starting 10 June 2021 at 8pm EDT.
- Price today: an offer review that opened the checkout on 14 Oct 2026 (WorthOrPass) recorded $33.97 and $46.95 options, a crossed-out $197, and checkout via ClickBank. The 2021 JVZoo bundle averaged $48.07 per sale (OTO Ledger).
- Refunds: 30-day guarantee. JVZoo refund rate 14.29% on the front end and 7.61% across the funnel (OTO Ledger, 21 Oct 2026; median 6.71%).
What we checked and what's missing
We read the live FunnelMates sales page, the 2021 launch listing on MunchEye, JVZoo data via OTO Ledger, an independent offer review (WorthOrPass), user reviews on LeadsLeap, and YouTube search results (titles only; transcripts were blocked). We found no Trustpilot page for FunnelMates and no Reddit discussion.
There isn't enough third-party information to judge outcomes. The only buyer reviews we found are two on LeadsLeap (2022 and 2025), both positive; the 2025 one reads like a testimonial. Claims that need corroboration: that a funnel is "profit ready" within seconds of setup; that beginners earn commissions from the done-for-you emails; that the marketplace brings creators meaningful sales; and that the masterclass content is still available to new buyers.
How it works, according to the sales page
- You get "$30 FunnelMates Cash" to unlock funnels from the marketplace, and can unlock up to two free funnels a month.
- Subscribers go onto a list FunnelMates hosts, and its "Limitless emails" service emails them 2–3 times a week with your affiliate links. You can optionally connect your own autoresponder.
- Funnel creators are paid when members unlock their funnels, less a 20% fee, and can withdraw $50–$5,000 every 72 hours, 30 days after a sale.
Our take on the model: you're promoting funnels many other members also use, and by default your list lives on someone else's platform and receives their emails. If you want your list to be a real asset, connect your own autoresponder from day one.

WorthOrPass reported that the ClickBank order form it saw displayed Brazilian reais (R$199.71 and R$276.03), and that the ClickBank listing flags rebilling although the page says one-time with no monthly fees. We couldn't confirm that, so check the currency and any recurring charge on the order form.
JVZoo marketplace figures: "OTO Ledger" refers to the third-party JVZoo tracker otoledger.com, which captured JVZoo's affiliate listing data on 21 Oct 2026. Its "median" is the median refund rate across the JVZoo funnels it tracks (6.71%). Refund rates are percentages of sales that were refunded as published by JVZoo; they are not a measure of product quality on their own, but a rate far above the median means many buyers asked for their money back.

Is FunnelMates a scam or legit?
It's a real, long-running platform with a detailed sales page, a no-questions-asked 30-day guarantee and a moderate funnel refund rate. We found no documented pattern of non-delivery. Its weak points are the familiar ones: implied earnings that aren't verified, long-running scarcity language, and very little independent evidence about typical results.
