Jason Capital review: not enough evidence
Jason Capital sold coaching on running an Instagram-based social media marketing agency, reported by buyers at about $1,000, along with earlier courses on copywriting, dating and basketball training. We tried his website, Trustpilot and BBB, read two Reddit threads, and read a YouTube video with its transcript and 25 comments.

Our verdict (editorial opinion)
We are withholding a verdict. We could not find a current seller page, price or refund policy, and the first-hand buyer accounts we found date from 2020–2021. Reddit buyers describe a roughly $1,000 coaching offer with a 30-day refund promise, slow support and aggressive direct-message sales; one buyer reports making $4,000 in a month.

What buyers and viewers report
About the allegations on this page. Statements from Reddit, Trustpilot or YouTube users are their own opinions or accounts. We quote or summarise them with a link and date; we have not verified them, and we do not present them as fact.
- r/WorkOnline, Jan 2020: the original poster says they were invited by DM into a “case study group”; “It cost me $1000 but he offers a full refund within 30 days if I don’t like it.” A reply says the offer is an Instagram-based agency course, that the person messaging is a closer, and that his “support” team is “very slow to respond if at all”. Another user says “I just made $4000 last month from this” (unverified). One commenter says the DM rep was rude when asked questions.
- r/ecommerce, May 2021: the poster says the testimonials claim students earn 2–3k in their first month, but that reviews they gathered said refunds were not honoured; they could not find anyone who had completed the course. Several replies point people to free copywriting resources instead. We excluded replies offering pirated copies.
- YouTube, KOOX, Jan 2021: a comedy video, “I Got Tricked By Jason Capital From TikTok”; the creator is not a buyer. Commenters are split: “His prices may be very high but his courses are legit” and “Jason's courses truly has huge impact”, alongside critical comments.
Not enough third-party information to reach a full verdict
We looked for independent evidence and did not find enough to judge whether this product does what it says. Most of what is published about it comes from the vendor or from affiliates who earn a commission if you buy. Here is exactly what we checked and what was missing.
What we checked
- jasoncapital.com (domain for sale)
- Trustpilot (no page)
- BBB directory listing
- FTC site search (no case found)
- Reddit threads ev20wa (25 comments) and ngt2n4 (25)
- One YouTube video: transcript and 25 comments
What was missing
- A current product, price and refund policy
- Any first-hand buyer account after 2021
- Outcome data
Claims that need corroboration before a fair verdict is possible
- $1,000 and $997 price reports
- The $4,000 income claim
- Claims that refunds were or were not honoured
If you have bought this product, we would like to hear what you received, what you paid in total and whether a refund was honoured. Contact us. We will update this page when better evidence exists.
The seller’s side
Buyers quoted on Reddit say the offer came with a 30-day full-refund promise, and one says the coaching gave them a skill that earned $4,000 in a month. A 2020 commenter defends him, saying he runs a social media agency. We could not reach a current website, and we will publish any response from Jason Capital.
Our verdict
Not enough evidence. The product we could identify is years old, there is no live seller page, and the buyer accounts conflict. If you are offered coaching from Jason Capital today, ask for the company name, price and refund terms in writing before paying, and be wary of DM-based sales.
What we like
- Buyers reported a 30-day refund promise
- Some students report earnings
- Free content available on social media
What to watch out for
- No live seller page; domain for sale
- No Trustpilot profile
- Reports of slow support and pushy DM sales
- Few first-hand accounts, all from 2020–2021
