Creator course review · Rachell Medero

Digital Wealth Academy review: a non-refundable course whose main income route is reselling it

Digital Wealth Academy (DWA), from Rachell Medero, sells a $497–$597 digital-marketing course with an affiliate program paying 85% and a vault of master resell rights (MRR) and private label rights (PLR) products. We read Truth in Advertising's August 2025 ad alert and three Reddit threads. We did not find a Trustpilot or BBB profile for this business.

Our verdict (editorial opinion)

A low-cost but non-refundable course, where much of the earning depends on reselling it to others. Truth in Advertising reports the terms say all sales are final and the payout can change, and that the seller did not provide typical-earnings data. Reddit discussion is dominated by people reselling the course, which makes independent opinion hard to find.

  • Price: $497 or $597, per TINA.org.
  • Refunds: TINA.org quotes the terms: “all sales of the Product are final and non-refundable.”
  • Trustpilot / BBB: no profile found for this business (Trustpilot search, 31 Oct 2026).

Not enough third-party information to reach a full verdict

We looked for independent evidence and did not find enough to judge whether this product does what it says. Most of what is published about it comes from the vendor or from affiliates who earn a commission if you buy. Here is exactly what we checked and what was missing.

What we checked

  • Truth in Advertising ad alert, 18 Aug 2025 (read in full)
  • Three Reddit threads (r/AskMarketing, r/digital_marketing, r/DigitalMarketing)
  • Trustpilot search: no matching profile
  • The seller's own terms page: not read directly; terms quoted here come from TINA.org

What was missing

  • The seller's current terms, read first-hand
  • Typical earnings data (TINA.org says it was not provided on request)
  • Any independent review site profile

Claims that need corroboration before a fair verdict is possible

  • Income and lifestyle claims in the seller's marketing
  • Student-count claims such as “over 120,000 students”, reported by TINA.org
  • A Reddit user's account of an MRR-to-affiliate switch

If you have bought this product, we would like to hear what you received, what you paid in total and whether a refund was honoured. Contact us. We will update this page when better evidence exists.

What Truth in Advertising found

TINA.org's ad alert (18 Aug 2025) says Medero promotes income claims on Instagram, that the course costs $497 or $597, that the terms let the company change the payout “in Company's sole and exclusive discretion”, and that the refund policy says all sales are final. TINA.org says it asked for substantiation that the advertised results are typical and “heard crickets”. TINA.org notes that its ad alerts may concern ads that “should be viewed with caution” and are not necessarily deceptive.

What buyers report

About the allegations on this page. Statements from Reddit, Trustpilot or YouTube users are their own opinions or accounts. We quote or summarise them with a link and date; we have not verified them, and we do not present them as fact.

  • r/digital_marketing, July 2024 (original post removed; 382 comments): u/nvsnell writes: “Every user in here who is commenting positively about DWA is a reseller of DWA courses. Every user in here commenting negatively about DWA is instead recommending another course – a course that they are reselling.” We treated the rest of the thread with that in mind.
  • r/DigitalMarketing, October 2025: u/InfamousPromotion172 says that after they bought, DWA switched from MRR to affiliate, and MRR buyers were moved to a separate community without future updates. A Portuguese-speaking commenter calls the content “bastante raso” (rather shallow). We have not verified either account.
  • r/AskMarketing, July 2025: a prospect asks whether buyers actually make money; replies are mixed, and several positive replies come from accounts that appear to sell the course.

The seller's side

According to TINA.org, DWA's site carries an earnings disclaimer saying results it references “are not typical or average”, and Medero requires affiliates to include an earnings disclaimer with income claims. Some Reddit buyers say the training covers useful basics such as social media and email marketing. We will add the seller's response if she sends one.

Our verdict

Caution. The price is low compared with other programs here, but the documented terms are unforgiving: no refunds, a payout the company can change, and no typical-earnings data. Much of the promised income comes from reselling the same course, and independent buyer opinion is hard to separate from reseller marketing. If you buy, treat it as a non-refundable course purchase, not an income opportunity.

We excluded promotional replies from accounts selling DWA or competing courses.

What we like

  • Lower price than most programs we review
  • Covers beginner marketing basics, per some buyers
  • Resell-rights products included

What to watch out for

  • All sales final, per the terms
  • Payout can change at the company's discretion
  • No typical-earnings data provided to TINA.org
  • Reseller-heavy discussion, hard to judge independently
