Commission Hero review: ClickBank affiliate training with mixed member reports and real ad-spend risk

Commission Hero, by Robby Blanchard, teaches affiliate marketing by promoting ClickBank products with paid Facebook ads; newer funnels sell Hero AI tools and coaching through free five-day trainings. We read the Trustpilot profile and two Reddit threads. The reports are mixed, and the business model carries ad-spend risk on top of the course price.

Our verdict (editorial opinion)

Mixed evidence: some members report sales, others report losses, refund delays and costly upsells. Trustpilot shows 3.8 from 260 reviews, with recent reviews split between praise and complaints. A Reddit user alleges “live” trainings were replays; another user says one session was live. Budget for ad spend on top of the price.

  • Seller: commissionhero.com

Not enough third-party information to reach a full verdict

We looked for independent evidence and did not find enough to judge whether this product does what it says. Most of what is published about it comes from the vendor or from affiliates who earn a commission if you buy. Here is exactly what we checked and what was missing.

What we checked

  • Trustpilot profile for commissionhero.com (260 reviews; recent reviews read)
  • Two Reddit threads in r/Affiliatemarketing (a third, r/RobbyBlanchardSUCKS, returned no data)
  • Seller pages: snippets only; we could not read the terms or current price
  • BBB and FTC/state records: nothing found for this seller in our checks

What was missing

  • Current price and refund terms from the seller
  • Any independent figure for how many students run profitable campaigns
  • A BBB profile

Claims that need corroboration before a fair verdict is possible

  • That the advertised “live” trainings were replays (one user's allegation, based on her own recollection)
  • The seller's statement that students have generated over $100,000,000 on ClickBank
  • Users' reported spend and refund outcomes

If you have bought this product, we would like to hear what you received, what you paid in total and whether a refund was honoured. Contact us. We will update this page when better evidence exists.

What members report

About the allegations on this page. Statements from Reddit, Trustpilot or YouTube users are their own opinions or accounts. We quote or summarise them with a link and date; we have not verified them, and we do not present them as fact.

  • r/Affiliatemarketing, September 2024: u/julebox722 says she followed the free five-day “live” sessions in August, then joined a renamed training and found it sounded the same. She writes: “He says it's ‘live’. Live is not the same as pre-recorded.” Another user, fibroflare, replies: “He was live for one of the webinars I did with him b/c he was getting low key heckled & replying – unless that was also faked.” Other commenters say pre-recorded webinars are common. This is an allegation; we have not verified it.
  • r/Affiliatemarketing, July 2019: u/Den8888 says the course was $997 and that its wording meant “you'll only be considered for refund after a year”. They also allege one testimonial came from a person who appears in another product's marketing; we have not verified this.
  • Trustpilot: recent reviews split. Negative October 2026 reviews call it a “scam” and say advertised results are old; a September 2026 reviewer describes Facebook account shutdowns, multiple profiles and extra phones, and “substantial” spending across programs; others say they are still waiting for refunds. Positive reviews describe a first sale within a month, same-day support, and one member who says he quit his construction job. Trustpilot's panel says the company has not invited customers recently, “so reviews may not be representative”. With so few reviews, the score tells you very little.

The seller's side

On Trustpilot the company describes Commission Hero as an e-learning program for ClickBank affiliate marketing and says students “have generated over $100,000,000 on the Clickbank Platform”; we could not verify that figure. It replies to some reviews, offering support at its help address. A seller page we saw only in a search result carries a “results may not be typical” disclaimer. We will add the seller's terms and response if it sends them.

Our verdict

We are withholding a firm verdict. The evidence is genuinely mixed: some members report sales and good support, while others report losses, refund delays and pressure to buy upsells. The bigger risk is the model itself: paid Facebook traffic to ClickBank offers can cost thousands in testing, and several reviewers describe ad-account shutdowns. What would change this: published terms, a verifiable share of profitable students, and the seller's response to the replay allegation.

What we like

  • Some members report sales and quick support
  • Large community
  • Free trainings let you judge the teaching first

What to watch out for

  • Ad spend on top of the course price
  • Several reviews describe ad-account shutdowns
  • Upsells (coaching, AI tools) pushed, per reviewers
  • Refund complaints on Trustpilot
