WP Training Kit review: a cheap 2019 WordPress course with resale rights, and not much else to go on

WP Training Kit is a beginner WordPress video course sold with personal-use, resell-rights or private-label licences. It launched on JVZoo on 30 August 2019. Its refund rate is low, but the sales page is gone and the only detailed descriptions are affiliate pages from 2019–2020.

Our verdict (editorial opinion)

Low refunds and a low price, but the content is years old and we could not see it. JVZoo shows a 4.84% funnel refund rate (OTO Ledger, 21 Oct 2026). WordPress has changed considerably since 2019, and the free official tutorials are current.

Not enough third-party information to reach a full verdict

We looked for independent evidence and did not find enough to judge whether this product does what it says. Most of what is published about it comes from the vendor or from affiliates who earn a commission if you buy. Here is exactly what we checked and what was missing.

What we checked

  • JVZoo data via otoledger.com (captured 21 Oct 2026)
  • One affiliate review (Mei Review, 30 May 2020)
  • Search results for independent reviews (one critical review appeared in search but would not load for us, so we do not rely on it)

What was missing

  • The sales page (OTO Ledger recorded it as unreachable)
  • A lesson list, sample video or date of last update
  • Any independent review we could open

Claims that need corroboration before a fair verdict is possible

  • “Complete” step-by-step WordPress training
  • That reselling the kit will make you money

If you have bought this product, we would like to hear what you received, what you paid in total and whether a refund was honoured. Contact us. We will update this page when better evidence exists.

What “PLR” actually means

Private Label Rights (PLR) is a licence to put your own name on content someone else wrote and to edit and sell it. It is not exclusivity. The same pack is sold to every buyer, and resellers often pass it on again, so you will compete with other copies of the same text. Related licences are narrower. Resell rights (RR) let you sell the product as it is. Master resell rights (MRR) also let your buyers resell it. Neither usually lets you change the content. The exact terms are in the licence file that comes with each pack, and different sellers of the “same” product can attach different terms. Read that file before you rebrand anything. Buying PLR saves writing time. It does not give you an audience, a unique product or an income.

Why the age matters

A WordPress course recorded in 2019 predates later changes to the editor and site-building tools, so screens and steps may not match what you see today. If your goal is learning WordPress rather than reselling a kit, the free official tutorials are kept current. If your goal is reselling, remember that the same unrestricted PLR kit has been sold to hundreds of other buyers since 2019 (250+ JVZoo sales).

What we like

  • Low refund rate (4.84%)
  • Low price
  • Resale licence options

What to watch out for

  • Content from 2019–2020
  • Sales page offline
  • Nothing we could open beyond an affiliate review
  • Same PLR sold to many buyers
