Creator course review · Andrew Tate

The Real World review: not enough independent evidence

The Real World (formerly Hustler’s University) is a $99-a-month online membership with separate “campuses” for copywriting, e-commerce, crypto, content creation and other money-making skills. We read the seller’s page, both Trustpilot profiles, BBB’s directory, three Reddit threads and a YouTube review with its transcript and comments. This review is about the product; a short note on the legal proceedings involving its founder, taken only from the prosecutor’s own statement, appears below.

Not enough evidenceour verdict

Our verdict (editorial opinion)

We are withholding a verdict. Independent reviews are scarce: Trustpilot has removed the product’s profiles, and the only star rating we found is published by the seller. Members who post publicly describe solid content in some campuses, thinner content in others, and a community that matters more than the lessons. Most public praise we found comes from affiliates.

Last verified: 31 October 2026 · Research-based review (we did not buy the program) · Community counts and ratings are as shown on the cited pages on that date

We did not buy it. This review is based on the public sales page, vendor documents, marketplace data and third-party or community reports, checked on 31 October 2026. We claim no hands-on use.

No affiliate relationship: we are not an affiliate for The Real World and no link on this page earns us money. Links to the seller are plain links, marked nofollow. See how we review creator courses.

The short version

  • Price: the seller says “Membership is $99 a month and you can cancel whenever you want.”
  • What it is: video lessons and group chats grouped into campuses, each led by a “professor”.
  • Seller’s claims (unverified): “155,000+ like-minded students”, “4.98 out of 5 from 2,235 reviews” (reviews hosted by the seller), and “Every professor still earns from the skill they teach”. The page also shows “98% Sold Out”, a scarcity banner for a monthly online membership.
  • Trustpilot: both jointherealworld.com and therealworld.ai show: “This profile has been removed”. Trustpilot says the business “goes against our guidelines”; it does not say which guideline.
  • BBB: no results for the business.
  • Seller: jointherealworld.com

Legal proceedings involving the founder

On 19 July 2026 the Crown Prosecution Service (England and Wales) announced that it had decided to bring further charges against Andrew and Tristan Tate, and that extradition had been requested after their arrest in the United States. These are charges, not findings: the CPS itself says its assessment “is not in any sense a finding of, or implication of, any guilt or criminal conduct”, and that “these defendants have the right to a fair trial.” Because proceedings are active, we say nothing more about them. They do not concern The Real World’s courses, and we have not found any consumer-protection action against the product itself. Proceedings in other countries have been reported in the press; we have not covered them because we did not find a primary-source record that names the product or defendants.

What members and viewers report

About the allegations on this page. Statements from Reddit, Trustpilot or YouTube users are their own opinions or accounts. We quote or summarise them with a link and date; we have not verified them, and we do not present them as fact.

  • r/EntrepreneurRideAlong, Dec 2023: u/pusswhispererer, who says they left and rejoined and are “in no way an affiliate”, writes “the courses are structured well” and that much of the technical content is free on YouTube. Another user, who says they have not joined, reports friends who were “completely turned off” while others said “it helped them get the ball rolling”. A July 2026 reply notes the price rise: “99$. , price is raised !!!”
  • r/therealworldTate, Dec 2023: one user says they have “not been able to log in for weeks yet they're still charging me”; another fixed a similar login problem by deleting the app.
  • r/therealworldTate, Apr 2025: u/ajthebestguy9th calls it “generally basic level stuff that you can mostly find on Youtube” and says “The professors are not proven to be millionaires.” u/DefinitionUseful recommends the trading campus but says other material is “nothing you cannot learn from Udemy.” In the same thread an account offers access to its own membership at the old $50 price; we excluded that offer.
  • YouTube, Mostafa, Jan 2026: a member who says he has been inside for three years says the product “doubled their price to $99 a month” and that “Most people just lurk.” He calls the copywriting campus “detailed and well-structured” and says crypto feels a bit “surface level”. Not independent: his video description carries an affiliate link, and his income claim is unverified (commenters note the on-screen figure did not match the spoken one).

Not enough third-party information to reach a full verdict

We looked for independent evidence and did not find enough to judge whether this product does what it says. Most of what is published about it comes from the vendor or from affiliates who earn a commission if you buy. Here is exactly what we checked and what was missing.

What we checked

  • Seller page jointherealworld.com
  • Trustpilot: two removed profiles
  • BBB directory search (no listing)
  • CPS press release, 19 July 2026 (primary source)
  • Reddit threads 18vi7dk (25 comments), 18se5ud (8) and 1k1047e (8)
  • One YouTube review: transcript and 25 comments

What was missing

  • Independent reviews on a third-party platform
  • A refund policy beyond “cancel whenever you want”
  • Any outcome data for members
  • The reason for Trustpilot’s removal

Claims that need corroboration before a fair verdict is possible

  • The seller’s 155,000+ student count and 4.98 rating
  • Professors’ earnings
  • YouTube and Reddit income claims

If you have bought this product, we would like to hear what you received, what you paid in total and whether a refund was honoured. Contact us. We will update this page when better evidence exists.

The seller’s side

The seller says members can cancel at any time, that each professor still earns from the skill they teach, and it publishes more than 1,000 student success stories on its own site. Several members on Reddit say the structure and the community helped them act on material they could have found elsewhere. We will publish any response from The Real World.

Our verdict

Not enough evidence. With no independent review platform and mostly affiliate praise, we cannot judge the product. If you join, treat it as a $99 monthly subscription: note how to cancel before you pay, check your bank statement after cancelling, and judge each campus separately.

What we like

  • Low entry price for a creator program; monthly and cancellable per the seller
  • Some members rate specific campuses (copywriting, trading) highly
  • Active community

What to watch out for

  • Price doubled from $49 to $99 a month
  • Trustpilot has removed both profiles
  • Only star rating is self-published
  • Members report basic content in some campuses
  • Most public praise comes from affiliates

Corrections and right of reply. If you are The Real World or represent the seller, or you think anything here is wrong or out of date, email hello@active-learning-site.com with the page and a source. We will check it, correct the page if needed and publish a factual response from the seller.

The Real World FAQ

How much is The Real World?

The seller says $99 a month and that you can cancel whenever you want. Members say it used to be $49.

Why is there no Trustpilot rating?

Trustpilot shows “This profile has been removed” for both jointherealworld.com and therealworld.ai and says the business goes against its guidelines.

Is The Real World a scam?

We don’t use that word. We don’t have enough independent evidence to give a verdict.

Are the criminal charges about the course?

No. The CPS charges concern the founder personally, are unproven, and do not concern the product.
