Dan Lok High Ticket Closer review: the terms are the biggest risk
High Ticket Closer (HTC) is Dan Lok's training for commission-based sales closers, with coaching and role-play. We read the program's terms and conditions, the Trustpilot profile for danlok.com, three Reddit threads (93 items) and a YouTube review with comments.

Our verdict (editorial opinion)
The program's own terms are strict: fees are non-refundable after 24 hours, and disputes go to arbitration in Vancouver before an arbitrator chosen by the company. Student reports range from useful training to “basically a rip off of the Sandler selling system”. Trustpilot is positive but largely invited. Read the terms before paying.

The short version
- What it is: training, coaching sessions and role-play for high-ticket sales closing, with an exam and certificate.
- Price: not on the terms page. Reddit users cited about $2,495 in 2018; a 2025 YouTube reviewer says $6,995 (unverified).
- Refunds: “ALL FEES PAID ARE NON-REFUNDABLE” except a request within 24 hours of purchase (terms, read 31 Oct 2026).
- Disputes: binding arbitration in Vancouver, “before a single arbitrator selected by DLE”; buyers agree not to sue.
- Trustpilot: 4.5 from 254 reviews, 9 in the last 12 months; the company invites reviews and “Hasn’t replied to negative reviews”.
- Regulators and BBB: we found no regulatory action in our checks; Dan Lok Education is Canadian and we found no BBB profile for HTC.
- Seller: danlok.com
What the HTC terms say
From the HTC terms and conditions: fees are non-refundable, and “NO REFUND WILL BE ALLOWED AFTER 24 HOURS”. Coaching missed or unused is not refunded, and the program says it requires “13 weeks of Your commitment”. A $500 fee applies to extend the program expiry by six months. Section 5 says Dan Lok Education made no income promise. Section 14 requires “final and binding arbitration before a single arbitrator selected by DLE”, held in Vancouver, and says: “You agree not to file suit against DLE”, with each party bearing its own costs.
What students report
About the allegations on this page. Statements from Reddit, Trustpilot or YouTube users are their own opinions or accounts. We quote or summarise them with a link and date; we have not verified them, and we do not present them as fact.
- r/sales, 2018 (61 items): u/Radykall1, who took the course, writes “I HAVE NOT YET MADE ANY MONEY”, but says it helped them land a job in a new industry. Others say role-play with peers is essential. A commenter notes two positive accounts came from 0-karma accounts, and another weighs the $2,495 price: “Is it worth 2,495 I don't know”.
- r/sales, Feb 2021: u/wolfe2813 says they went through the program and “it's basically a rip off of the Sandler selling system”; most replies advise against buying.
- r/copywriting, Dec 2019: critics cite Coffeezilla's videos on Dan Lok; defenders say his free content is valuable and critics have not taken the course. Most participants say they did not buy HTC.
- Trustpilot: mostly positive verified reviews; a July 2026 reviewer writes “He teaches you nothing”. Trustpilot's own profile panel says this company “invites their customers to review, whether positive or negative”, so many reviews come from invitations sent by the seller. That is allowed by Trustpilot, but it means the score reflects whom the seller chose to invite.
- YouTube, Mar 2025: an independent reviewer (who promotes a different business model) summarises the program, cites a $6,995 price and the 24-hour refund rule, and concludes he doesn't think it's worth it.
Not enough third-party information to reach a full verdict
We looked for independent evidence and did not find enough to judge whether this product does what it says. Most of what is published about it comes from the vendor or from affiliates who earn a commission if you buy. Here is exactly what we checked and what was missing.
What we checked
- HTC terms and conditions (seller primary source)
- Trustpilot profile for danlok.com (254 reviews)
- Reddit threads 8ukkjn, lnfh3p and eh6n77 (93 items)
- YouTube review (transcript and 4 comments)
- Regulatory and BBB searches: nothing found
What was missing
- Current official price
- Placement or earnings data for graduates
Claims that need corroboration before a fair verdict is possible
- Prices quoted by users and the YouTube reviewer
- Earnings and losses quoted second-hand in the YouTube review
- Allegations in Coffeezilla videos, which we did not review for this page
If you have bought this product, we would like to hear what you received, what you paid in total and whether a refund was honoured. Contact us. We will update this page when better evidence exists.
The seller's side
The terms state that Dan Lok Education made no promise about income or employment. Many verified Trustpilot reviewers describe the training as valuable, one saying they made their first six figures following it. In the 2018 Reddit thread, students describe coaching, peer role-play and the option to interview for closing roles. We will publish a response from Dan Lok Education if sent.
Our verdict
Caution. Opinions on the training are split, but the contract is not in doubt: you have 24 hours to ask for a refund, and disputes go to an arbitrator the company selects. That makes the purchase hard to undo. Only buy if you would be comfortable losing the full fee.
What we like
- Structured coaching and role-play
- Many positive verified Trustpilot reviews
- Seller says no income promises are made
What to watch out for
- Refunds only within 24 hours
- Arbitrator selected by the company; no lawsuits
- Mixed student reports on value
- Price several thousand dollars, per users

High Ticket Closer FAQ
Can I get a refund from High Ticket Closer?
Only if you ask in writing within 24 hours of purchase, according to the HTC terms. After that, fees are non-refundable.
What happens if I have a dispute?
The terms require binding arbitration in Vancouver before an arbitrator selected by Dan Lok Education, and you agree not to sue.
Is Dan Lok a scam?
We don't use that word. Our concerns are the contract terms and mixed student reports.
