AI Income Engine review: a $47 live AI build week whose enrollment has closed
AI Income Engine was a live online cohort, sold on JVZoo for $47 (early bird about $27), in which Sean Donahoe walked attendees through planning, building and launching one “income asset” with his Wayland AI agent. It ran from 29 June to 5 July 2026. The sales page now says “Enrollment Closed”.

Our verdict (editorial opinion)
A real, low-refund live training from an established vendor, but it has ended and its results are unreported. JVZoo's funnel refund rate was 6.0% (OTO Ledger, 21 Oct 2026), just under the 6.71% median, and the vendor's seven live masterclasses average 4.9%. Every detailed write-up we found is by an affiliate. One of them warns that Wayland drives AI services such as Claude, Codex and Gemini that you pay for separately, and that the live week includes a $497 upsell pitch. Nobody independent has reported what attendees actually built or earned, and the sales page now only says “Enrollment Closed”.

The funnel averaged $147.59 per sale (OTO Ledger), so many buyers spent more than the $47 entry price. Review AI Apps also says Wayland calls paid AI services and estimates $50–$200 a month in API fees, depending on use. That is the reviewer's estimate, not a figure we checked, but it is a cost to plan for with any agent tool that uses your own API keys.
What was in it
According to the two affiliate reviews we read, attendees chose one of four asset types (a client-acquisition engine, an offer or course, a content engine, or a software tool), received Wayland free at registration, and followed daily live sessions with replays within 24 hours. Both reviews describe a private community for the cohort week and live cash prizes on the final call. Review Torpedo says sessions were offered four times a day across time zones; we could not confirm that from a vendor page.

Vendor track record
OTO Ledger lists seven JVZoo launches by Sean Donahoe from Dec 2023 to Jun 2026, all live masterclasses (Yellow Brick, TrendFlow, Titan's Edge, Rebel AI Formula and AI Income Engine, some with early-bird or trial versions), with an average refund rate of 4.9%. That is a consistently low figure for this marketplace. Rebel AI Formula, his previous launch, taught options trading; AI Income Engine was about building with AI, so the subject changes from launch to launch.
JVZoo marketplace figures: "OTO Ledger" refers to the third-party JVZoo tracker otoledger.com, which captured JVZoo's affiliate listing data on 21 Oct 2026. Its "median" is the median refund rate across the JVZoo funnels it tracks (6.71%). Refund rates are percentages of sales that were refunded as published by JVZoo; they are not a measure of product quality on their own, but a rate far above the median means many buyers asked for their money back.
Is AI Income Engine a scam or legit?
We found nothing suggesting it is a scam: it was a dated live event from a long-running vendor with a below-median refund rate. What remains unknown is the outcome: how many attendees finished an asset and whether any earned from it. If a new cohort opens, set a spending ceiling before day 1, because the reviewers describe upsell pitches during the live week, and budget for the AI services Wayland connects to.
